My name is Barb Plett and I love creating! I started as a paper scrapbooker back in 1996 and switched to digital around 2008. I found myself wanting certain themes I could not find so I decided to try to figure out how to design scrapbook papers and kits. That took awhile, but here I am still learning and really enjoying the creation process. I usually design kits that can be used for both boys and girls as I have one of each.
I am blessed to be a stay-at-home mom and usually spend my “free” time designing (mostly while the kids are at school once the chores are done). If my husband reads this he may not agree that I always wait until the chores are done. :) I try to get my chores done first but some days my computer just calls out to me to sit down and quickly do something. Before I know it the day is gone! I call myself a stay-at-home mom but I actually work outside the home one day a week at a Children’s clothing store.
Most of my inspiration comes from photos I want to scrapbook or layout themes I want to create, but some kit ideas come from my customers. My customers are very important to me and I am always open to kit suggestions. Actually one of my favorite parts of designing are creating kits based on customer requests.
