Trick-or-treating may be some people’s favorite part of Halloween but others really embrace the spookiness of the season. If your tastes lean more towards horror movies and haunted houses, you’ll fall in love with Haunted Mansion. This gorgeous scrapbooking kit brings a bit of horror and a lot of style to your layouts. The silhouettes of haunted houses loom over graveyards and twisted trees. Ravens, bats, and black cats appear like omens. Candles flicker under a crescent moon and perhaps the scarecrows move when no one is watching. The longer you linger, the more you notice: skulls, rat poison, a casket, and possibly a ghost? Haunted Mansion continues to build ambiance with patterned papers reminiscent of faded wallpaper, cardstocks imbued with long-forgotten newsprint, quickly scribbled word strips on what look like bandages, and a typewriter key alpha.
