If you are receiving error messages when you are attempting to use newly acquired digital content that you purchased from an outside source (any digital scrapbooking site OTHER than MyMemories.com) It can be frustrating to get an error message when you attempt to access that content for the first time!

If you are running a VISTA or WINDOWS7 computer, it is an easy fix!  First close your program - you might consider a full system restart as well, just to make sure everything else has closed properly!

Then to reopen your My Memories Suite program, instead of "double-clicking" the icon, as you normally would to open you program, simply RIGHT-CLICK the MMS icon and choose RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR instead.  This will open your program and give whatever "permissions" are necessary to access all your new goodies inside your program.  Most of the time the error occurs when the designer happens to design on a Mac and you happen to want to access that information on a PC.  It is really a harmless error and doesn't mean that the content you paid for (or grabbed as freebies) is corrupt in any way.  It just needs this quick extra step in order to fully accept the new content appropriately.

Because I never know if I am going to use, or attempt to access things I haven't used before, I have just gotten into the habit of opening my program this way every time, and I have not had the error appear since that time!

Hope that helps if you are stuck! If you are having additional errors with your MMS content or outside content and this does NOT fix your problem, please feel free to email me directly, and we will get you in touch with the guys at the tech department who are much smarter at figuring out things than me!
